Privacy Policy

FillPoint RV (“FillPoint,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Sonic Team West LLC. FillPoint helps paid members find and improve RV water-fill and dump-station information. This policy explains the information the service handles or is designed to handle as platform access rolls out.

Information you provide

• Your email address and authentication identifiers when you subscribe to updates or create an account.
• Location suggestions, confirmations, problem categories, and notes you choose to submit.
• Support messages you send to us.

Location information

The app may request device location to show nearby results. Precise location is used for the requested app function; it is not intended for advertising or sale. You can deny permission and search another area manually.

Optional feedback reminders

In app versions that offer stop-feedback reminders, these are off by default. If enabled, opening directions can schedule a quiet notification on your device; it does not establish that you visited. Reminder preferences, a pending station reference and limited recent reminder/report history are stored locally in protected app storage to avoid repeat requests. This feature does not track background location or send a push token or travel history to a notification service. Turn it off in the app's Settings or your phone's notification settings. Reminders are cleared on sign-out; reports submitted from another device may not cancel a local reminder.

Subscriptions

Apple or Google processes store payments and retains purchase records under its own policies. RevenueCat helps us verify subscription status and may process a store purchase token, app user identifier, and technical subscription diagnostics. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

Service providers and map data

FillPoint may use Supabase for authentication, RevenueCat for subscription verification, Mapbox for map display, and OpenStreetMap data under the ODbL. Optional Mapbox telemetry is disabled in the app; ordinary map-resource requests still reach Mapbox. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Account security checks

In app versions with an account security check, loading the check connects to Cloudflare Turnstile, even if you do not finish signing in or creating an account. Cloudflare processes signals such as your IP address, browser and connection characteristics, and the site running the check to distinguish people from automated traffic and improve its bot detection. Shared station information

Confirmations and categorized problem reports can affect a station's last-confirmed time, aggregate counts and confidence. These station-level results can appear in the map and in our ODbL station-database offer. The offer excludes account identifiers, emails, individual report records, private suggestions, personal notes, photos, billing data and a device's location. A station's coordinates identify the station, not a device's position. Private suggestions remain in the review queue until their facts and publication rights have been checked.

Product updates

If you subscribe on the website, we store your email, consent time, and source so we can send product news, availability updates, and occasional offers. To limit automated abuse, we temporarily retain a one-way hash of your IP address with recent submission times for up to one hour. We do not sell the list. You may unsubscribe or request deletion at any time.

Retention and security

We retain information only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service or meet legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure, but we use access controls, secret separation, and data minimization appropriate to the information.

After account deletion, we retain a one-way hash of the deleted account's authentication identifier and a deletion timestamp. This limited security record prevents old sign-in tokens or delayed billing updates from recreating or reactivating that account. The record does not contain your email address, password, or original authentication identifier.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information from the app's Settings screen or through our account-deletion page. We may retain de-identified factual location evidence and limited records required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Children

FillPoint is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service and its providers are finalized. The current version and date will remain posted here.
