Station data and attribution

FillPoint RV uses OpenStreetMap-derived water-fill and dump-station data. This page offers a machine-readable copy under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0, free to download without an account.

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. FillPoint's modifications to the offered database are also made available under ODbL 1.0. The license governs your rights to copy, use, adapt and redistribute that database.

Database snapshot time: 08:47:47 UTC. Contains 3,893 station records. GeoJSON uses longitude, latitude coordinate order. The included manifest supplies file sizes and SHA-256 checksums.

What the file contains

The snapshot includes the station coordinates, stored OpenStreetMap tags, mapped water/dump capabilities, known or unknown access details, source references and observation dates. It also includes station-level last-confirmed times, aggregate confirmation/problem counts, and confidence calculated at the snapshot time. Records marked withdrawn are retained and identified.

Account identifiers, emails, individual report records, private suggestions, notes, photos, billing records and a device's location are excluded. A station's coordinates identify the station, not a device's position. Source references identify the retained OpenStreetMap element after deduplication; they are not a complete edit or merge history.

Freshness and updates

This is a dated copy, not live station conditions. An OpenStreetMap observation is not an on-site confirmation. A confidence label is a summary of available evidence, not a guarantee of access, water safety, hours or fees. Counts and confidence can change after the snapshot.

For a newer copy of the database used by FillPoint, or a correction or licensing question, contact FillPoint. Please include the snapshot date or the date you used the service. Internet delivery of the offered database is free of charge.

Database rights and the app

Our app and interactive service have separate subscription terms. Those terms do not restrict rights granted by the ODbL for this database. App software, branding, artwork and third-party map tiles are not included in this download.
